Automatic Assembly Machines & Spring Feeding Systems

Multiple air jets provide the spinning action to separate the tangled springs.

An air jet sends untangled springs through the feed tube to point -of-use. Air jets are timed and preset for maximum feed rate.

An air jet clears tangled springs away from the nozzles at predetermined intervals.

The BECMATIC combines many unique features to solve the problem of automatically separating and feeding springs or other cylindrical parts. It is ideal for open or closed coil springs that become tangled and imposssible to feed with vibratory bowl or drum type feeders. Springs must be identicallly shaped and both ends closed.

Contributing to the success of the BECMATIC is a bulk supply chamber . An internal gate controls the quantity of springs released from the bulk supply chamber. Thus, an adequate quantity of springs is maintained in the spinning chamber to assure efficient separation and maximum feed rate. The bulk supply chamber also reduces refilling requirements.

Electrical system is solid state. Body is fabricated from Delrin. Spinning chamber is lined with stainless steel. All spring movements from spinning to ejection are accomplished with compressed air cycle controlled by an electronic timer.
